Bark Box May 2013

This month's Barkbox wasn't as jam packed as last month but we were still pretty excited about it.

Penny was pretty interested as it all smelt pretty minty.

This month's Box contained:

Planet Dog: Eggplant (this is kinda like a kong but instead it's shaped like an Eggplant - and it smells minty)
Loving Pets: 4 oz Grill-icious Mini Bites (Beef)
Barkworthies: 6-7" Smoked Pig Bone
Bocce's Bakery: Green Remedy Biscuits

Overall I liked the box - but there wasn't any wow factor.
Last month there was a couple fun products (like the vitamins) that I was excited to try.
I do like that the treats were minty and should keep Penny's breath smelling nice.
The Eggplant too will be fun to stuff with stuff.

Barkbox April

It arrived!

Penny wasn't really too sure what to think about her Barkbox but appreciated what came out of 

it.

This month's box contained:

Penny is kinda a brat when it comes to treats sometimes; she takes it and then doesn't eat it.
But Dan (fiance) convinced her the duck jerky was OK.
I also gave her the rope toy which she took but didn't do much with yet.
I'm really excited for the vitamins and the cleaning mitts. She tends to come in covered in dirt alot.

My photo skills did not get used last night *fail* so I don't have pictures of the products.

Lets just reminisce about when Penny was little last summer :)

Wow Glossybox - you're here... already!

This is just a quick what was in the box post; as I am at work and the box is in the car.

This month's theme was supposed to be Metro Chic - I guess that was sorda evident

I will not spend any more money...

So I don't now about you - but I am not made of money.
Too bad I've been blowing it on things I DO NOT need and things I shouldn't be buying.

Needless to say I am officially on a NO BUY.
I will not spend money on nail polish, online subscriptions, clothes, shoes etc.

I think I now have enough nail polish to last me a life time - well until I use all the unopened ones I have at least.

As nice as the subscription boxes are - there has only been one product I had to have more of - Miss Jessie's - Baby Buttercreme.
I have since used up my Glymm points; and only have Jules left with Julep - that I may use up for a box or two.
I WILL NOT buy from the Secret Store this month.

I keep justifying all the purchases I make - that it's either something I really need; or that the sales really good.
Then I wonder why the heck I am so much in debt.
OK - no buy begins today.
Also finish all the damn products you have starts today too.

Bark Box

Seeing as I don't have enough monthly subscriptions - I signed my dog Penny up for Bark Box.

What is Bark Box you ask?
Well it is a monthly subscription box for your dog. It is said to have 4 or more treats/toys etc for your dog.
AND you can select the size of your furry pet to ensure they get toys right for their size.
Small & Cute 0-20lbs
Just Right 20-50 lbs
Big & Bold 50lbs +

Now Miss Penny is about 60lbs + so I got her the Large box.

Here she is with her Dentabone this morning. She looked cute.

Glymm February 2013

Bye bye Glymm - this is my LAST bag and I must say I will not miss them.
I picked the bag up on 2 Fridays ago - so this is a little late... I also took a week to upload my photos. Ops

Not only did they raise their prices from $12 per month to $15. Thankfully I cancelled before I got dinged with the higher fee though.

Now on with the bag.

This month's bag contained the following:

Purely Pro Cosmetics Eye Shadow in "Luxury" 1.7 grams (FULL SIZE) $18.00 value
Honestly this colour SUCKS I will not wear it. Did I not have a profile with you guys? Into the swap box it goes.

Villainess Bar Soap in "Ginger Snapped" size (not sure) retails for $6 for 99g
This smells really good - reminds me of Christmas though...

Nailuv Gel Polish in "Berry Sweetie" Size (n/a) the full size (15ml) retails for $14 on Glymm's site.
This would be great if I didn't need to figure out a way to get a cheap UV light so I could set the damn stuff

Femme Couture Monster Gloss in "Vixen" 10.4g (FULL SIZE) $9.00 value
Can't decide if I like this or not... it's huge though.

Overall there are some things I like in this bag; the bag itself I love; it would've been nice to get in February though.
The gel polish would be super if it was magic and didn't need a UV light. I will research getting one from China but I feel like most people will toss it which is sad.
